Our journey began with a deep-rooted friendship between Liz Ott and Lauren Mallor, childhood companions who spent summers as beach lifeguards on the captivating East End of Long Island, also known as "The Hamptons." Cooper's Beach, renowned as one of America's top beaches, holds a special place in our hearts. For the past five years, Lauren and her husband Binh operated the beach concession stand, where Binh's mother, Gabby, created delectable dishes infused with the flavors of Vietnam.

Inspired by Gabby's culinary expertise, Lauren collaborated with her to develop a Vietnamese-inspired cold brew that quickly gained popularity during the summer seasons. The demand for our refreshing beverage was overwhelming, prompting us to embark on a new venture—bringing the essence of Rickshaw Cold Brew into the comfort of your homes.

We started this project with a shared passion for creating a high-quality product that captures both the essence of Vietnamese flavors and a locally roasted cold brew. As self-proclaimed coffee connoisseurs, we were disappointed by the lackluster options in the "ready-to-drink" coffee market. Determined to offer something exceptional, we decided to take matters into our own hands.

Driven by our entrepreneurial spirit and inspired by our recent milestone of turning 40, we knew it was time to turn our dreams into reality.
